For Richer or Poorer?

From the “proles” of 1984 to the Hunger Games and Swift’s “A Modest Proposal”, poverty seems to be married to society until death do they part.

  1. There will never be an end to poverty, yes, there may be a reduction, but i believe there will never be an END to it. Ways to reduce it may come to wealthier people helping the lower class, preventing a start to more poverty. The economy status also has a blow on poverty, if the economy spikes back up there may be a reduction in poverty.

  2. I don’t think there will ever be an end to poverty because it’s a part of society. Some people are born in the right family and are going to be well off with the right education. The people that have been born in poverty are more likely to stay in poverty because SOME have no aspirations to do better. Lets take the United States for example. United States have these welfare programs. These programs may help someone and get them out of their sticky situation. Meanwhile the others do not want to let go of the welfare they recieve from the government. This mindset goes on to the children and they pass it down. A few people have risen out of this predicament and are very successful which is alright.
To answer the question. No poverty will never end.
