  1. Three things that I think could improve integrity and dedication in the workplace. Well in my own personal experience, I was pulling a 50% security watch at an ftx (field training excerise). We had to wake up every other hour for three days and we did. Also at basic we were at the firing range and someone had a negligent discharge and owned up to it when asked and shows his army value of integrity. Although in the military it is already instilled in the soldiers, they can always improve. In any work place it is good to have and show these values.

  2. Dedication and integrity go hand in hand. Without integrity, you don’t have dedication. Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody is watching, and dedication is pushing yourself to complete a task. In the workplace, three ways to promote dedication and integrity is by doing your job right, doing it to the best of your abilities, and being encouraging to others. Setting the example for other workers is a great way to promote dedication and integrity. In my work experience, there were times where I was the only person working on a team task while everybody else was standing around and talking. This shows dedication because I wanted the job to get done so we could move on to the next task.

  3. Any time an employee shows that he/she wants to learn more about his/her job, it shows dedication in the workplace. Wanting to grow and learn about a position emphasizes that an employee cares about not only personal growth but the company’s well-being. Stagnation is going to affect a company’s bottom line. Ways to show growth in a job position are asking questions, taking classes for further development, and staying interested in new developments in the company’s field. For example, a web developer could show devotion to growing in his position by achieving new levels of certification.

Bringing energy and initiative to your job every day shows commitment. Caring more about your work and your organization will show in the results you produce. Showing commitment can demonstrate your leadership potential to managers and lead to career opportunities.

A personal way I showed dedication in my life was when I was doing basketball. I would always think the work outs were too hard and it wasn’t for me but I realize that I wanted to be and do my best at everything I do including basketball. So instead giving up I pushed and went harder with the work outs. Knowing my hard work and dedication was going pay off in the long run. That situation taught me dedication is the key to get through anything even a job.

Dedication is a immense word that needs to be shown and proved in the workplace.

  4. Three things to promote integrity and dedication would be like following thru on what you say. and also be deturmind in what you do. with all the work i have done over my teenage work experiance i have been cussed out and what not i kinda just killed them with kindness. so that i wouldnt get fired or what not. example form a while back i was at a customers house and she was complaining about the color of her pool deck. and the ladie was mad about it and had a realy bad adduitude because it was two colors to light. so we repainted and then it turned out two shades to dark cause the sun cured it so it was a messed up situation.

  5. I work in the electronics/wireless section at Sam’s Club. There was a lady named Brooke Alexander that came in looking for phones, She got there around eight and I got off at nine, I figured I would be done by then. It turned out to be ten thirty by the time I got out of there. She was adding three different lines onto her account and upgrading another phone that was also on the account. The three phones being added to the line was for her three kids and the one phone being upgraded was for her husband who just got home from being over seas. I wasn’t forced to stay there, My manager offered to take over and let me go home but I told him it was okay I wanted to finish helping them. What took so long is I had to call Sprint each time I made a transaction with their phones in order to have the phones activated.

A few things to promte integrity and dedication in the workplace would be, to be dedicated in your work, always put your best into your work and to treat everyone in the workplace, and your customers with respect. When you are working you should always have a smile on your face and go above and beyond expectations. Over summer we had a few new hires and one girl was feeling sick from getting overwhelemed and just didnt feel well and I know she couldnt handle being there anymore so I told her I would take her shift so she could go home.

First, you can show dedication in the workplace by showing up to work early and staying to help others in work if they need it. Secondly, you can show integrity by being truthful to your boss and your fellow co-workers. Finally, you can show integrity and dedication by if you have a rude customer go into where you work you can’t be rude to the customer. To show a personal example in my own life, I used to work with a landscaper and I stayed after the job to make the customers lawn job that we had look in a pristine condition, when my boss didn’t even ask me to.

  8. I should actually promote integrity and dedication in the workplace or school by doing it like picking up slack or staying late to help someone leave early. At school i was partnered up with someone who was so worried about grades thinking to myself i was like great this is going to be easy, well i was wrong i ended up doing all the work and getting us the A but in the process she made herself look bad in front of the class because she knew none of the information, so nobody wanted to be her partner and everyone relized i did all the work.

  9. There are multiple ways in which you can show integrity and dedication in a workplace. Having integrity within the workplace is doing things the right way at all times whether or not you’re being watched by your employer, putting the customer first for example. Sometimes there will be times where you’ll have a clash with a customer but you can’t take those kinds of clashes personal. Dedication in a workplace is also very important because if you don’t have dedication why would your employer want you as a worker. Lack of dedication means you don’t care all that much, you can get let go that way. I would always try my very best to keep a positive attitude within the workplace that I work in, I would try and leave my baggage at the door.

A while back I remember when The Culinary Academy had a special event after school, we had a dinner service for these people that had come in and ordered, It was a pretty busy night and not everyone could stay and volunteer for the service, me and a few other students stayed and worked untill about seven or eight at night it was tough and we had pressure but we got the job done and we had everything cleaned up by the end of the night. Choosing to be dedicated by putting forth a lot of effort, and having integrity by choosing to do the right thing, is pretty essential I think.

  11. I show dedication by when I worked at olive garden I would have to make the guest feel welcomed any means done. We had to clean off a table and give booths to the ones who preferred. Also if a guest felt angry or upset we had to immediately control our attitudes and be professional and accommodate them.Further more I’ve been in situations where a customer would fall I would have to help them or get help. Or even help them to their vehicle.
How I showed integrity is when I would clean places I didn’t have to or I would over clean over the top. I would change the sand in the cigarette area. I would also wipe down the walls and behind the mirrors, and I would always be prompt at least 10 minuu3ates earlier. Also I would always try to promote my workplace to others and tell our new sales that we need.

Whatever your definition of dedication may be, it’s important to have some sort of dedication in every aspect of your life. One of these aspects should be in the workplace. For example, on November 30th, I applied for a job at Uncle Maddio’s pizza, and I had an interview the next day. After the interview, on Thursday, I sent a thank you letter to the woman that interviewed me, she was also the general manager. A few hours later, she emailed me back saying that I had the job.

If someone is approached by someone looking unfortunate and asking for money, they would be approached by a dilemma. They could be charitable and give to the man or they could do the thing they’re meant to do and tall them it isn’t your place to give it away. Dependant on which aspect; morals or duty you’re more dedicated to. There’s technically no right answer sometimes.

Also, I would (if I was a manager), I would hold daily meetings to allow the workers to display their concerns or ideas for the workplace. Lastly, I would give help to others who need it. Personally, I would show dedication and integrity in the workplace by showing up on time, doing my job correctly, and acting appropriately according to the rules.

  17. To show integrity and dedication, you have to show your true character. You have to put your work or the customer first, and always think about the consumer. When I was a junior, my entire varsity cheer squad decided not to participate in the competition, which left my coach without a team. However, instead of doing what everyone else did, I put my coach first and stayed on the team to help her and add a little experience to the team. Always tell the truth, even if you or someone else may be in the wrong, it is always better to tell the truth and take the concequences. Lastly, always try your hardest and put forth your best effort.

There was a time that I thought I wouldn’t take the time to finish school, I felt that everyone hated me and that I wouldn’t be able to go another year with no friends to talk to that I can depend on when I down. I started missing weeks at a time out of school so I didnt have to come to school and feel alone or feel as though someones talking about me. I had to tell myself that failure wasn’t an option that I wouldn’t let a few group of girls determine wheather I get a deplomia or not. I came to school the next day and spent hours home and school to catch up on my work. My grades in my Government class was a low C and I cant to school and started doing my work and had a low A by the end of the day. I new then I separtated myself from the negativity and replaced my surroundings with positivity. I putting forth the effort to get my grades back up even though I’m a little far behind,I will push myself because I want a a good life for myself. What is a good life without a great education? What it means to become dedicated in a workplace the career path that you choose to do will follow you the rest of your life and if I want to be an Accountant I have to have passion and have fun with the job I desire each and everyday. Also, with dedication you will have to get up and go to work especially when your tired, be on time, and a hardworker. For a real life example I use to work at a Call Center name Telecom Service Bureau Inc. and it was a hard job at first becuase your working with a government phone company and your assisting the customers the best that you can and thats when integrity plays a role by being at a Call Center you have to have patience with the customers even though you cant see them face to face so it made it a little diffcult but I managed to get through it. For example, this lady called in and she very upset that her phone was off and she wanted to talk to the supervisor and I was explaining the terms and conditions to the lady and she was yelling and cussig at me and kept saying I want to talk to the supervisor becuase I am tired of my phone being off and I am on the unlimited plan so I placed the lady on a brief hold and I told her the phone will be back on in 3 mins and she was satified and hung up so through it all I kept calm and took care of the issue. The way how I showed dedication with Telecom I showed up to work on time and I woke up every morning on the weekend to go to work even though I didnt want to but I managed to do it so I can get the work done. In conclusion its great to have dedication and integrity in the things you love and drive for to become successful.

Over the summer I was working for a tree and handyman service. One of the jobs we did was installing a metal roof. The pitch of the roof was high, so it is very dangerous to stand under or near the metal. The owner was standing in the danger zone and my boss dropped the panel off of the roof. I had to move him out of the way or he would have died. Luckily I did this just in time and we both escaped death.

You can show dedication and integrity by making sure that you are on time to work. It shows that you care about your job and that you respect and understand that you have a responsibility to be at your job on time. Another way to show integrity is by being honest with people and make sure that you fix any problems by telling a manager or some sort of authority. Another way to show dedication is by doing things without being asked and being proactive. For example, a family came into my workplace and I was working register. A young child had a drink and spilled it all over the floor. Her parents tried to clean it up but before they could, I pulled out the mop and cleaned it for them even though that wasn’t my job, it was the job of the person working lobby. The person who was working lobby that day was busy at the time so, I decided to help her out by cleaning the spill for her.
